hey mate,

nice melody,

pads in the intro do sound pretty good. definitely the best synth sound in your tracks.

your other synths need to be reworked imo. bassline sounds a but hollow and definitely needs more bass.
strings do sound ok to me, just a bit dry. try to work around with the stereo enhancer and add some delay and reverb.

the gatered pad actualy sounds pretty good to me, its the strongest element of your track, so i would assign some more frequencies room to it.

add some effects to your transitions. fill in's, swell and crash, maybe some filtersweeps.

im curretly listening on good headphones. all your sounds do sound pretty centered, i would do some left and right panning on some of your backround elements.

alltogether not bad, but i think you could make it much better with a handfull of effective tweaks.

bye, nik

The way i generally make my tracks I add all my transition effects in towards the end, it's easier for me to get the whole track down so I know where I need effects and such. I actually have two bassline's in there so maybe the deeper one isn't playing loudly enough

thanks man.

bass has a nice rhythm acutally sounds like one of my older tracks lol. my first track actually its shit but your melody is exactly the same. so im giving you a 10 for the melody since ive had it before lol. ill give you the link if you want to listen.

as nik has stated it is pretty central. more variation to liven the stereo up. pads lovely, maybe change the synth to something more dreamy as this is a dreamy kinda track. on the plus side definately your best ive heard more memorable.

good luck!

hey thanks man lol, i just posted a comment to come listen on your myspace haha, you were a step ahead of me! What i will most likely do , ( like I do with most of my tracks ) is save a seperate project file and do sound fiddling on that one. Thanks for the comments!
