[Trance] Aylcame - It's Not Fear (Original Mix) UNFINISHED PREVIEW - HI.NRG Trance

Hey, our next track "It's Not Fear" has been making some headway. This track, being produced by GTrance, DJ Sentinel, and DJ Jasperson under the name Aylcame, is a HI-NRG Melodic Trance track with a beautiful melody, large break, and some problems ;-). We are in the final stages of mixing the track but its too long, a little big muddy "not enough bright stuff when the lead is out aswell", not wide enough, and not mastered at all. This is just a preview of what to come. We are posting it to get some feedback from you guys so we can make this production the best we have to offer.

Thx.

My, my... sounds like quite a collaboration.

Not to mention, the kick and bass sound rather phat! A very epic trancer from the get go.

I'm far from a mastering engineer... and my current listening equipment is below par, so all I really can do is call it what I hear it.

I see, you grabbed for the staws with the bassline early on. The chord progression seemed a tad too soon, IMO.

The production is a tad muddy as there's some conflicts between the bass/saw/gated pad. It's not so bad, but just enough to probably rise a few complaints from staunch folk. I personally like the expression -- gives it a crunchy pack in the lower frequencies that could fatigue the ear slightly. That's really all there is to the muddiness: it gives the track some character as well as depletes attention. I'm guilty of the same thing -- just so many elements, so little EQ adjustments.

Otherwise, up till this point it's a very steady trancer. The filter's work. The background acid is very subtle and crazy; you can't hear it until the other elements silence (perhaps too subtle).

Breakdown time... I like this vibe, it's almost a cross between harder-driving trance, and proggy smooth. It's epic and soft, yet powerful in melody and timbre.

Bells! What a monster pad. The supersaw alert is on ... raise your shields, epic haters. Cheese for me is good, it's protein!

To me, the bassline is missing all the sudden. It's barely audible, even on these producing headphones designed for bass sensitivity.

Is it me, or could the supersaw use some timbre adjustments? What synth did you use to create it?

I'm en-tranced ! Hypnotic bliss... what an atmosphere.

Aha... I forgot all about the pluck, that I now hear because of the outro.

Like I said, my comments are not going to help your mastering success... I enjoyed your track for what it was worth: a very bright trance. I do, however, think you should prioritize the frequencies of your kick/bass/and other elements a tad better. It's a balancing act, and I'm the worst offender of the lot.

I wish all of you the best of luck with this production. It's a solid epic track.

ok here we go .
the intro is kinda nice with the fx.
the "new years eve rockets" fx is not that usual, i like it.
i think bass is a tad weak.

the chord progression comes in a little early i think.

this is some nice epic trance :].
i think you put everything out there too soon.
i like the break!
really emotional :], you guys made a great job with the break.
i think you should bring out something alot different for the climax after the break, feels a bit like it was like before.

i like the bell thing .

i think the outro is a bit dragged out.
quality production !
