ATB - Dedicated

its a new album from atb, his last one was 2 world, whichs sucked hard, he is slowly reviving, but some of the tracks on the cd are a joke, i can't really tell if this cd is pop or electronica. heres the breakdown.

1 Dedicated
2 Hold You
3 Get High
4 You're Not Alone
5 Halcyon
6 Let U Go
7 I Can't Stand...
8 Hero
9 I See it
10 Basic Love
11 I Wanna Cry
12 Remember

Track 1 kicks it off, with the name of course being the name of the cd. This track is good, nice melodic tune. onto #2. Hold you which has been releases on vinyl/cd and heard before, i personally love the song, but others dont. #3 this track is a joke, with 1 and 2 being good this one is just d&b with a few synth sounds. Track #4, this song sounds a lot liek hold you, lott of the same instruments and same vocalist, i hope atb doesnt use this as his main instruments, like he used the same instruments with movin melodies. #5 is good track, solid track good melody, definatly in my playlist. #6 is let you go, another one of my fav tracks, this ones hit or miss, either you like it or you dont, i love it . #7 this song sucks too, much to look into, just some piano with some beats, didnt like this one. #8 hero sounds like a pop song, doesnt sound like trance, sounds like nsync stuff, disapointed. next track also bad, called i see it, not much here, just beats and a guy saving i love it i see it, #10 basic love gets the cd moving again, good 7min track with great trance in it, i liked this track very much, its melodic and kicks up again from its boring tracks. next track is a very mellow, track, not uplifting of anything, calm and sweet. Last track is not so great, nothing i liked from it, just plain beats and few synths. Well that sums up the cd, all in all i think its okay, not too much to look for, but few great singles on it, i also heard that theres a 2cd version that has Hold You svenson and gielen remix, The fields of love public domain mix, killer lost witness mix, and doh! 9pm till i come bent remix. however i didnt get that cd with mine, so i cant comment on those. hope this has been helpful!

You know, the first time I ever heard ATB, It was 'Till I come (9am). My immediate reaction was positive, It wasn't quite melodic/epic, but it was trance with that kind of sound that trips you out with those alternating peaks of melody. As I heard other tracks, I couldn't tell whether they were producing Trance or Dance. Personally, I'm a little ambivalent about ATB. They've got a couple of solid tracks that definitely bring back memories, but I wonder if they're not just borderline Commercial Trance (which, for lack of a better name, we hear a lot of these days). I think maybe, I'll at least SAMPLE this CD in the store.

One good thing I noticed about this album is that ATB is no longer using the damn guitars over and over... They were cool at first but they died out quickly.

just a personal view

DarkLordz, I'll have it somehow different.

yeha, Dedicated is a good song, really nice. hold U has good vocals but, as well as Let U go (the video version mix availabale on this cd) it's too comercial. You're not alone is a cover after Olive, and i like the original ten thousand times better.

I kinda like the others... I mean they're allright, nothing amazing maybe but anywa.

oh, I think no3, Get High, is the best tune on the whole goddamn CD. my 2 cents (and some 5 or 6 friends of mine too).

yeah, the guitars became boring. too much is too bad!

Hey I want to thank you for turning me on to this one.
Dedicated is cool.
I agree with DarkLordz about Get High, that seems to be the best I 've heard on this album.

Can't wait for the singles, they should improve some of the others allot.

Oops, my brainless mistake!
You were the one hypronix.

Get High is cool but I hope they remix it.
I would not be unhappy to hear less of the girl.
