4 Strings at Heaven was amazing. He laid down a set that was as good as his set at Trance Energy this year. I haven't danced (if that's what you call it)that much in a long time. He did a great job of mixing the old with the new. He was friendly to the crowd.
Now looking forward to Christopher Lawrence, Above and Beyond, and Talla.

Sorry to hear that. That's odd , because when I saw him at Trance Energy in Feb, he had the room of approx 5000 going strong.

Yeah, if this wasn't Trance Energy, then I don't know what is! Jan was all over the place behind the decks, CD's to vinyl, jumping smiling and dancing! I don't think I've ever seen a DJ that happy before and the music was completely off the hook, old and new, his mixing flawless. Just wish I could have stayed for the last hour...I had worked a 12-hour day before showing up at Heaven, but was so glad that I did!
More pics HERE , plus a video to prove that it's all true!

That was an awesome night, one of the rare occasions where I actually stayed almost till the end. Too many anthems, who gives a flying f*ck? that shit got everyone dancing, and that's all the matters!
I don't mind anthems, but he did play the same track FOUR times here in SF back in January...just different remixes.
But I have to ask...why is it that whenever a batch of pics from Heaven is put up, it seems like peeps avoid the "crowd shots." You might get a couple blurry ones here and there but never anything more.

There are plenty of crowd shots in my pics/videos which I will post up soon enough, so many to upload!

C'mon....it's not that bad!
I have to agree with Matt: the night was soooo much fun. I danced my butt off! A couple of times I even had to run to the dance floor from the smoking patio because he was playing some major tune (like Rank 1: Breathing ) The mix of old and new songs was awesome! I don't know how many dozen times I screamed "damn I love this song!" BTW, he didn't play any song twice or more....
It was great to see a lot of familiar faces (you know who you are) and I finally got to meet the crazy DJ GT & Project
If you weren't there you missed out!!!
Here are my pics: Clicky
(DaveT: Yes, my crowd shots are blurry too like other people's....can't expect much from cheap(er) cameras but I'm gonna try to create a custom setting on my camera for decent club crowd shots )
