Seriously.. I´m part CDJ and i haven't even bothered to try scratching with my cmx-3000 lately.. It's disgustingly awful! Question is, do you / can any of you scratch "even decently" on a pioneer CDJ..!??

no-one, not even pioneer, says that the scratch effect on the cmx is a proper scratch. and it isn't part of the CDJ range, which have very good scratch functions

Yes you can scratch on a CDJ1000. Takes a little getting used to but it's pretty good.

For scratching, the CDJ800 is far better than the CDJ1000 MK1 & MK2... Why? Because the platter is more loose and you need that for better scratching. But with the new CDJ800mk2 & CDJ1000Mk3, they go heads up.
