So for me, I basically rely on forums and sets that I listen to while Im at work. When listening to a set I will search for it online while here at work and try and get a tracklisting. Sure there are nights like last night where I had an hour to myself and I spent it online listening to tunes.
Its fine, if you dont wanna help me out a little by posting a like track for these 2 then dont. Im not pointing a gun to your head. But I dont think Im being unreasonable here by asking for some suggestions.
By the way, it is funny how you make an excuse for the same type of thread you posted. Please, do a search on me and my topics. I hardly ever make a thread like this. |
Ok, when you put it like that it's a little different. These posts of mine aren't necessarily directed at you, but the general community who do have the time and are just too lazy to make an effort to find new stuff. Also, I wasn't trying to make an excuse, I was using mine as an example of how I think these sorts of threads should be made. Personally, I am very picky about starting threads and rarely do because of this.
If you talked about the sound, gave some insight into the elements you liked, a bit of history about how you got into it, or something, I don't know. I suppose it felt a little like you were attempting to "use" the other forum members to do your work- I know it obviously isn't that cut and dry, it just kind of rubbed me the wrong way. I know you have good intentions and I now understand you are very limited in the time you can spend on finding tunes.
Carry on.
