What are tracklist Cues for ???

I keep seeing these pages with tracklist cues for live sets. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to use them

Im wasent sure which section to put this thread inthis one looked like the most appropriate

In live sets you use them instead of 'physically' splitting the tracks into individual files before burning to CD eliminating the risk of gaps or pops during track transisions.
