A list of fireworks shows, what's closed Monday

Victoria Day will end with a bang (or many) with two fireworks shows planned for Monday night.
Ontario Place will host its firecracker display at 9:30 p.m., weather permitting, while the traditional Ashbridges Bay fireworks extravaganza takes place at 9:45 p.m., rain or shine.
Spectators for the Ashbridges show are urged to take public transit because of a lack of parking spaces.
Fireworks safety
Toronto Fire officials are reminding people who will be lighting fireworks to read all safety precautions and be very careful when handling the devices.
Last year, fireworks caused 19 fires in the Greater Toronto Area on the Victoria Day long weekend, officials said.
Firecrackers should be handled by adults and be buried in the ground or halfway in a pot filled with sand.
The devices should be angled away from spectators, who should be at least 30 metres away.
The person lighting the firecrackers should wear protective eyewear and have a buckets of water and a flashlight nearby, officials say.
The day before Victoria Day is the busiest for fireworks retailers.
"We're definitely having a strong influx of people coming through. We're selling multiple, multiple thousands of dollars worth of merchandise, to be honest," Kaboom Fireworks employee Justin Orfus said Sunday.
Officials suggest people should only buy from vendors who have a valid permit, which assures the fireworks have been government-approved.
Also, here's a list of what's closed on Victoria Day Monday:
Beer and LCBO stores;
Most retailers and malls (the Eaton Centre and Vaughan Mills are open);
Grocery stores and supermarkets;
Banks;
Government offices; and
Libraries.
There is no mail service or garbage pickup, and TTC and GO will run on their holiday schedules, with reduced service.
