Rasta Off to GOA!

In a couple hours! For those who don't know what or where Goa is, please watch the Bourne Supremacy intro or look at these pics! I'm going for 6 days, and since its low-season we pay like 10$ a night for the hotel, and roughly 100 dollars for airfare...

I'm staying right around here, It's called Baga Beach.

Pics on my return!

Za zing!

it should even cost $10 a night for a hotel. You can get a room right of the beach for about 350 rupees which works out to about $5.

Which beach are you going to be staying at? Make sure to hit up Anjuna for the flea market on wednesday and thats where most of the younger crowd hang out, but the beaches are bit crowded. I stayed at benanulim which wasnt crowded at all, you basically had the whole beach to yourself

$10/night? Jesus. I take it you'll have money leftover to help foot the bill for my hotel in Vancouver?

Don't worry Taub, I've been to goa twice before. Most of the shacks are closed around this time of year and we decided to splurge a little on the hotel room! Hahaha... I stayed at the Taj Holiday Village last time and holy shit 5 star madness! We are staying right at Baga, very close to Calangute. Will def. be hitting up Anjuna, but doubt the market will be on during this time-- I know the saturday night market is shut as well as the big nightclubs, Cubana, Paradiso, etc.

I stayed there the last time I was in Goa which surpisingly was way back in 92' and its one of the best places ive ever stayed in.

Il prolly be back over the winter and Goa for new years is definately on the agenda this time. My roommates from B'bay and goes there every year and i never hear the end of what a smashing time he had.

Isn't may a little of season to be heading there??? I beleive the seen shifts up north to Manali after march.

I'm not going for the "scene" I'm going with some buddies as a end of high school, let's kick it on the beach sort of thing. We have our "fun" sorted out down there already.

I agree with you about the Village, it's insane. My friend's family booked out practically the entire hotel for his older bro's wedding. Absolte mad affair it was- 24/7 party favours of all kinds..
