Trouble with current track

Hey people. I'm just having some serious issues with his new track of mine. I can't seem to create a well developed main/hook melody and my breakdown is lacking big time. I'm just looking for some creative advice from the rest of you's on what you think of this track. I'll do a YSI link for you all.

Yeah right now I feel the breakdown is nothing. I also think that the melody needs to change just to fit it all, but I've drawn blanks everytime I try something new. Any other suggestions? I'm more than open to listen.

yeah it happens sometimes man, im actually just learning also and i probably have a harder time than you do, but just keep fiddling around, it'll come to you, just dont stress yourself, its crazy you sound just like me talking to one of my buddies on aim, trying to figure out where to go next, i have hard times creating a good break sometimes, but your song sounds pretty good, a little progressive though, but just keep messing around. usually i create my break from the main melody, try playing with those main instruments that come in around 2:05. they sound like they'd be pretty sick. Also just listen to some other tunes may they be commercial or other beginners to see what they do, most of the time i listen to other peoples tunes instead of commercial tunes, helps alot more.

Thanks for the input. I was going for a progressive type of feel btw I don't know why, but lately I've been diving into the prog/uplifting type of style. I'm really looking to incorporate a hard trance type of feel into it, but I totally went from that to what is there now so whatever. Thanks again. Anyone else?
