Sytrus presets

does anyone know where i can find some more? i really suck at programming them but id like to hear what a mainstream "trance lead" type preset sounds like.

thanks

im down for that! i really need to move on to my sytrus and quit screwing around with the others for a bit. an interview i read said one from infected mushroom was enamoured of the sytrus lately, for phat fm sounds.

loop talk has the sytrus forum. kvr has sytrus presets, but all 120 suck imho. i will definitely post any i make, but they will in all likelihood suck. i would hope anyone whose got good sytrus presets to post up.

here you go my friend
these are over 600 banks of presets from the yamaha dx7 including the factory presets (rom)
go to this page
http://www.thedx7.co.uk/
under number 10 it says "600 banks" download and extract that the program files/image-line/flstudio/plugins/sytrus/presets make a new folder like "dx7 presets"
then when you load up sytrus there's a little arrow under the lemon. clicking on that pops up a sub-menu that says "import sysex data". pick one of the sysex files in your folder like the factory rom "rom 1a". next time you click on the arrow you will see 20-30 dx7 presets. there about 5,000 presets (600x10-20) here i believe. certainly plenty to study as a base from programming the sytrus. that's what i plan on doing with them.

it's really funny
last hardware synth i sold at a pawn shop in 1990 or so was a dx7. broke my heart but i was absolutely broke.
now i am able to have every single dx7 sound in existence on my sytrus. like coming home
very cool. legend indeed.
