hahaha....i once had mine saying -30c in the summer.
check your outside temp sensor.
in my car is in the driver side brake duct.
don't know where exactly yours would be.

Subtract 5 degrees from the number because of the engine heat gets added on...well, 41.5 is still hot. Good think youre back home in a week or so...

Hahahaha.. I am in Dubai right now..and it was actually +46.5 C in the afternoon. No malfunction here, except of myself if I stay in the heat too long.

Cars these days have the sensor somewhere where there is the least reading discrepancy. While external factors do come into play, there are not as much as the old days. (1 or 2 degrees at the max)
