[Trance] Saltwater - The Legacy (TvB Remix) - 256 kbps.

Always enjoyed this track, so figured i would make my own remix of it.
This is what i came up with after some twiddling back and forth.

Any comments and / or critics are very welcome. ^^

Saltwater - The Legacy (TvB Remix)

Enjoy!

Hey... this kick is good... the saws are good... the bass is a standard, listeneable off-beat... and the harmonics are pleasing.

The breakbeat has a digital bite to it that reminds me of some stadium trance. The pitch-effected saw lead is a nice loopy touch to the euphoric drive. The pitch bends lose themselves a bit, which is good, when the filtering is completed.

After the break, somehow I get the feeling that there are too many clicky-highs in the mix, and that they are scratching my ear-drum, but that's just splitting hairs.

Good, epic sound. Not a personal favorite on the melody, but it was memorable.

I haven't listened to the original, but hey, this is a bangin' track.

Appreciate you taking the time to give a detailed reply like that.
Even though my level of technical terms made me somewhat confused on some parts up there.
Even so, nice to see you find it a, "bangin'" track.
Thanks.

hey
the high end is way too laud, lower the volume of the hihat that is on bassdrum!
nice strings on the break, the snares sound abit cheesy, the synth is good.
you should work on the stereo adjustment of the sounds you got in this tune, they all "sit" in the same place therefore the mix is closed and there is no space in it.
the rest is good, just fix these stuff ;-)
7/10 on my scale
