Who saw X-Men 3, what do you think will happen if they make X-Men 4?

The extra scene at the end of the credits hints that there could easily be a 4th movie, however imho the storyline would be considerably thinner.

X-Men 3 was awful, I'm just gonna ignore it and believe that 2 was the last one.

It was a weak movie.
What was the post-credits thing?
The last scene in the movie, prior to the credits, definitely gives evidence that there will be another movie.

but then again the star trek films make it to like what 57 and who remembers any of those anymore
i can't tell if you're being sarcastic there or not.
i heard x-men 3 sucked, it's got a different director or something. being a childhood fan of x-men, i'd like to see a fourth movie, hopefully more true to the comic.

X-Men 3 wasn't that great compared to the first two movies but it was ok. And Bryan Singer decided to go with the new Superman movies instead of continuing with the X-Men so Brett Ratner (Rush Hour 1-3, Red Dragon,..) replaced him as the director for X-Men 3 which might have been a somewhat bad thing because sequels are never quite the same when the director changes along the way. So often the feel and continuity from the previous movie(s) ends up to differ from what would have been if the same director had continued with the sequels. B-movies with 1972358652375412 sequels again are a whole another story.
Most comic adaptations for the big screen have either made it big or failed miserably but X-Men 3 goes somewhere in between.. for just being ok.
I hope Mark Steven Johnson's take on Ghost Rider which comes out next year won't disappoint as much as Daredevil and especially Elektra, which was horrible, did because Ghost Rider is one of my fav Marvel characters. DD was partly good but partly it was horrible and should have followed the comics more loyally instead of trying to be overly dark toned, alot like Burton's Batman was. Anyways according to the Ghost Rider trailers found HERE it seems to be a bit of a yes and no movie. The CGI looks sweet as candy but hard to say more before i've seen the whole thing.
