Does this mean anything to you?

I found it interesting when LtD posted it in the "Good Morning, COR" thread because that sign meant completely different things for the three of us.
- The file is named "fuji_two_fingers", so I'm assuming she's Japanese. There, this is nothing but the "V" for victory (even if reversed) and became a ubiquotous sign after the 1972 olympics [source], coming from an American, where this could mean both "Victory" and, possibly, "Peace and Love" (I'd need an American to confirm whether the meaning changes when the palm is inward).
- LiveTheDream, who lives in the British Isles, saw it as an insult [source].
- I saw it simply as "two", since it's quite common here for us to count that way.
Have you ever had problems with this gestures?
I remember I once almost got beaten by my own father because of a gesture that meant "okay" to me meant "go f*** yourself" to him (he's from northeastern Brazil).
How about you?
