Question About Beatport's MP3's

I was just wondering if there's any limitations on the mp3's Beatport sells? For example, do they only work on CD Players if burned in MP3 format? or the files don't play back after a certain number of copies are made? I read Beatport's FAQ and there's nothing mentioned about only being able to burn the songs once, or only as mp3's, or anything like that.

The reason I'm asking is because I just tried burning my MP3's from Beatport as wav's and audio CD tracks; and the and the audio CD's skip, while the wav's just give a 'disc error'. I wanna know if there's a problem with my burner, Nero, the CD's I'm using, the CD Players (DNS-5000) or if those MP3's are useless

no limitations.
they're just regular, high quality mp3s

try burning at a slower speed or with a different brand of CDs

That's the thing though. At my house I burned them as audio CD's through Nero at my house, and all the tracks skip at my friends place on the Denon's. So I tried burning my MP3's from my friends computer as CDA's and WAV's using both my brand and his brand, and none of my music works as wav or audio cd.

My MP3 CD's work without a problem though.

if your using nero 7 you will run into problems, so until nero fixes it keep using nero 6. cause when i start using nero 7 cd's were skipping, and once i went back to 6 it was all goooooood.

Yeah I had the same problem with burning at a high speed and trying to play on my roommate's Denons. They play fine on my Pioneers, so I dropped the burn speed to 8 and I haven't had a problem since.

yeah there really shouldn't be much of a problem...burn at a lower speed as suggested.

does nero automatically convert an mp3 into a wav when burning an audio cd? i don't think it does. if you want to make an "audio cd" or wav cd, you need to convert the mp3 into a wav file.

i use nero6 i just go to the wizard select MUSIC -> MP3 DISC, and have at.

also, slowing the the burning speed helps a lot. i have a bunch of cd's that i burned @48x, and almost all of them feature pops and clicks. now i'm burning @ 32x. much better.

Havnt read entire thread but.
Nero converts audio automaticaly for audio cds.
Nero has its own editor in wich you can load single files and split into seemless playing tracks.

EDIT:

BAH... Wrong thread...

it is probably a problem with nero but i have come across damaged files. I have downloaded them and the error was actually on the mp3. make sure that isnt the case. if it is email them and they will refund you
