Great little subtle percs in the background. Really adds depth, I enjoy good engineering/mixing like that.
That hi-hat sounds nice and fat with layered with that other hat. Really enjoying that lead coming in.
0:42 Things really picking up, I can feel... the... ENERGY!
0:52 Delicious bass. Very classic sounding, it's not oompah! It's good
1:18 enjoying the grindy background lead
1:20 Oh wow, listen to those strings. Sample? Sounds really great so far.
1:56 Breaaak down. It's interesting how hard it is to mix evenly. With my headphones turned down, I'm hearing more bassline than I am string samples, and it's a little weird. I might turn your bassline down just a tad, JUST A TAD.
2:45 OH SNAP. This is just classy, totally cheesy, and good. 2:59 Great! Now chop up that choral sample! GLITCH IT UP! That's what I want to hear, go a little BT on us. Because that choral sample almost doesn't fit really... it's like we're listening to a trance track played over a symphonic song, like you were just jamming to it. I might tweak it up a little bit to make it fit more in your style of music.
3:40 Liking this little break. Bassline, percs, lead, no kick 3:58, nice little break, and reverse kick. I dig it.
It's short. Now normally that would be annoying for me. Because it would be hard to spin this in a set. However. If you want money for it, and you want it to get radio play. Then this is perfect.
Great track man. I would fine tune that mixing, and have it mastered by someone else (I master my own tracks too, but honestly after hearing your own mix OVER and OVER again you get baised, and honestly mastering just won't sound right when you do it in the end, I'm sure you're familiar with this already though)
Keep up the good work Mr. Warming.
Throw me a bone though... I've really been working hard on this chillout/trancey/prog track for my Music Production class at school, and I would enjoy your input.
link to thread!
And yes I know, this is shameless self promotion, but I enjoy your productions and style and would appreciate your technical opinion on my production.
Thanks again GLOBALLLL!
