Hey guys, ive just finished up on this remix of my friends track, simply named "summer"
this track shares alot in common with my last track "Liquid Energy" which isnt a bad thing because i think ive pretty much nailed the Smith and Pledger style im looking for. and i believe ive done it again this time round
The original track is going to have a major CD release in Portugal in about a months time. this remix will be included and i'll be earning royalties from it which technically means its my first release
Hey its quite good is this - nice kick and percussions...good quality sound - maybe could do with more of a build up than just letting the melody fade in right at the start of the track - overall, good work!
I like this... The pads are nice and the programming seems to flow naturally... I really like how the bass and kick sound together!
The flanger/phaser thing toward the middle-end is a bit much for me, and some of the percs might need some eqing during that part I'm not sure how much you are trying to tie back to the original, but there doesn't seem to be much left (besides the melody, of course) that I noticed

thanks!
i basically wanted to change everything, and make it sound as it would if i was to come up with the melody idea myself. essentially making it my own.
apparently that was a good plan, because the guys at the label said it was a good remix that complimented the original. (rather than competed with it)
Nice song. What I like the most was the quality, Quality is impressive, the bass, kick and hats are perfect. What I don't like is the beat melody at the beginning, I don't know man, maybe its just me but my ears kinda hate it. The break part is also cool, but stick to the original though.
A nice dancetrack with a lot of energi. Great bass and kicks. Not the best I heard from you, but good enough. Good luck with the release and happy birthday!
