Windows People: I need your help!

So I'm attempting to run some things on Windows again, and upon installing them, my Windows computer will not boot.

I will get to the XP logon screen, type in my password, and then it will load my background pictar and seemingly hang up.

I can get to the task manager - But once in there I have no idea what anything means. The only thing I've noticed that is of note is a process called SVCHOST.exe with a number of 99 in the "CPU" column - But again, I have no idea what I'm looking at.

So, can anyone help me get my computer to boot?

Oh, and beyond that, I can go into the File menu and pick "Run New Task" pick just about any program, and it will load....

Mixmeister 6.0

Edit: I also installed Ableton Live 5.0 and a couple VSTi's prior - But had restarted it and it worked fine.

sounds like a bad install, or something that is supposed to be running on boot is having an issue. Boot to safe mode, uninstall the program, reboot to regular mode and try again. Heed the warning to close all programs before installing.
