Hey I was just wondering the various techniques the dj's here on tranceaddict use to get the dust off or basically just clean their vinyl's in general. I've heard different methods online such as liquid based solutions but I was a little unsure. I heard the liquid will basically attract the dust in the grooves of the vinyl even more thus making it more of an annoying task to get the dust out. Please post any working methods you guys use because Im in desperate need for any legible solutions to clean my records.

Buy yourself a can of Gruv Glide. That's it. Don't use anything else.

I've been using Gruv Glide, and I have to echo the sentiments of everyone else here. The stuff seems to do exactly what it says. I have no complaints at all. Pick up a can, and I think you will be very happy.
just use lighter fluid to remove any oils, and then just wipe them off with a dry swiffer pad. they both remove any charge the record may have, as well as clean them perfectly. You don't need to buy any special commercial cleaners. I carry a pad with me in my record bag for quick cleanings b4 I put the needle on

I take mine in the bath with me... Nice hot soap and water is the key.
