Wow wow wow wow wow wow!

I felt so lucky to hear Pedro del Mar spinning his first DJ set in America! Pedro came on at midnight, was chill at first but then he built it up solid all the way until 3! So many good tracks, just a few that I remember were System F "Cry," Super 8 vs. DJ Tab "Helsinki Scorchin'" and a tripped out remix of Alice Deejay "Better off Alone." There were so many excellent tracks, wish I knew or could remember them all!

I was upstairs taking a picture from the balcony when Pedro signalled me to come downstairs, but I didn't get that he was inviting me up behind the decks with DJ Shah until I danced for an hour more then went up by the stage to take some pics and he signalled me again to come up! I danced up there all the way until the end of his set, talking with Bob, Gil and Ria about how excellent it was. Also, more people than I've seen at Heaven in a long time, and most everyone was dancing on the floor(especially towards the end).

Pedro drops his last track, I thank him for coming, and DJ Shah hands me a stack of 4 promo vinyls which Pedro later autographed for me! I hope to return the favor and play these out some day!

I first discovered Pedro del Mar's music by listening to a lot of live DJ sets. I was always really impressed with one of them called Mellomania by Pedro del Mar, and always looked forward to hearing the next episode. Mellomania is aired on Radio Sunshine Live (Germany) every Monday from 8-12 p.m. (www.sunshine-live.de), Digitally Imported Radio each 1st Tuesday from 8-10 p.m. (www.di.fm), or just search for Pedro del Mar "Mellomania" and I'm sure you'll find it many other places as well.

Pedro mentioned that he loved playing his first set in America here in Los Angeles and looks forward to returning soon! Thanks again to Pedro and everyone representing Heaven for such a great night!
