CUBASE assigning MIDI automation contol

this couldve came up before but couldnt find it in the search.

I have a M-Audio Radium 49 Midi Controller Keyboard.

I want to assign some of the knobs to some VST filters and envelopes and I want to controll some of the sliders to the Volume faders in each MIDI track.
