nees some help with technics sl-1200 mk2

ok well i just noticed this now. one of my turntable's tracklight bubble, the big one is slight moving to the right. while the other turntable it stays still. im assuming theres a massive problem? maybe my motor is messed... im not exactly too keen on this, maybe someone could shed some light.

could i still mix with it? ive just been learning lately.

Do't quite know what your trying to say here, but maybe your pitch control needs to be recalibrated?
Head to djforums.com and do a search for the procedure.

umm well i cant tell if the pitch is messing up. you know the 4 dots on the side of the platter? isnt the big one supposed to be visualy stationary? it is on one of my turntables but not on the other. i think i may have seen somewhere that if its not stationary ( moving a bit) your motor or platter is messed ... or something... it moves slightly to the right.

make sure your pitch slider is in the click.

If it is moving with constant speed your pitch is slightly off and its up to you whether you get it fixed. Shouldn't be a major problem if it is, it just means that your pitch isn't exactly zero when it should be. It won't affect you in any way though cos you rarely need to set the TTs to a pre definied pitch you just match it up with the other TT.

If it jerks or moves spasmodically then your pitch is fucked and you have to get if fixed.
