hardware probs

So recently, I upgraded the graphics, cpu, and mobo of my system. Right now, I'm running on

Athlon 64 3500+
Rd480 something from MSI (mobo)
and a Sapphire X1800GTO

I decided to stick with the old memory I've accumulated over the years, as well as my old harddrive.(temporarily). I'm running 2 x 256mb ddr333 in dual channel, and a 512mb ddr333 in an extra slot. According to benchmarks, I should be getting like, 100+ fps in ut2004, 60+ at least in bf2, etc etc. You get the point.

Now I'm trying to figure out why. I have a feeling that the memory is the bottleneck here, and (possibly) the harddrive, but I don't want to rule out a few other things. I'm wondering if the Cool'n'quiet feature I enabled in the bios has anything to do with it, or if it's a defective video card, and I should rma it. Any ideas?
