E-Mu Xboard49 Midi Controller

i just ordered mine today and its due to be at my door step in about 3 to five days. I was wondering if anyone else here has one? I chosed this over the M-Audio Radium and Edirol PCM because i wanted a decent reasonable midi controller with weighted keys. Just wondering if anyone has some good experiences with it =)

is it good in combination with the virus ti desktop ?
keyboard version is too expensive (over here around 2250 euro)
desktop 1700

i`m not planning to perform live with it, so i don`t think the
extra 550 isn`t necessary.
i don`t know much why exactly the keyboard version is so expensive
and if i`m going to need it.

My friend has that one, and I have a radium (which I wanna replace in the near future), and the E-mu has a better feel than the radium. The whole thing just feels more solid than my radium.

Yea. The Novation REmote is on my "to-buy-very-soon" list.

The E-Mu is a great controller... but I have my sights set on the SL37
