I saw this piece while surfing youtube and must say it is really telling about the level of control in North Korea. It is truly like a whole other planet, even Stalin would begrudge this level of social control that this man has over his people. People usually celebrate when a visiting dignitary comes to town, moreso in a place like North Korea but this is scary in its Orwellian level of control. You get the impression that one could not exaclty refuse to show up or else. I can see why the South is scared shitless of North Korea either collapsing or a war on the peninsula.

Where are all the democracy and human rights protesters and the international outcry or is that just reserved for Guantanamo and every U.S. action (which I have been a sound critic of myself) while such a place is utterly ignored by the entire world. Where is the Red Cross, HRW, Amnesty International, nowhere that is where. Shameful and sums up the global mentality to a tee.
