[melodic progressive] Freedom for all [anti-war remix]

Here is a melodic progressive track. It is called "Freedom for all". It is deep progressive track, 129bpm, 224kbps mp3. You can download it to listen anywhere. Please check it out. I have been working on this track for weeks, and I'm very proud of it. Vocals are courtesy of the Miller Center of Public Affairs. The track inspiration was to express a strong anti-war theme, but with a positive uplifting feel.

Enjoy and please leave your comments after listening.

Very nice beat. Bass could stick out a bit more through the beat, but I guess it's alright as is. You drumrolls seem to echo into the low ends too much. Might have a better effect if they were high freqs only.

Overall, it's very difficult to criticise this track, because I have no idea what you were trying to achieve as the author. This is certainly different. Reminds me of when I used to play Megaman X on the super nes

Really nice melody! The bass sounds good to me, I like that disorted synth a lot. This track makes me happy, good job!

thanks for the thoughts, guys.
@Akia thanks for you directness and open mind as always.

@Aquarian - nice to interact with you. Never really expected a comment as you are not in the more experimentally minded group, but I really appreciate a listen. Believe it or not, this is the most straight-forward track I've ever done. I am really trying to reach out to more listeners, so I really want to hear from accomplished individuals such as yourself who prefer more popular and conventional sounds. I'm trying to bridge that gap. There is not much point to writing music three people listen to.

hey mate

huge percs. kick is real original

bass is groovy. i like it a lot.

synth @.45 i think is original but is a bit wrong for the track...

1.30... lol. really cheeky sounding. me likes. but makes it hard to take seriously.. not sure..

this is like a very wiered circus ride to me! with a huge beat.

vocal is a bit out of place...

overall i like your originality. i would love to hear a dub mix with less happening in the main sections and then the weired sounds used during the break. so like just your massive percussions and the bass in main sections and the melodic parts in a few occasional breaks..

nice production with a lot of power.

rich

The drums are extremely repetitive. the claps are too loud and overpower the rest of the drum beat. When the riff comes in at 0:45 it definetly says to me that this definetly isn't progressive and is just euro trance slowed down. this opinion was also backed up when i heard the hoover noise.

I also dont like the sparkle noise. The vocal sounds out of place aswell.

The riff that comes in at 1:32 is the best part and i think you should strip it all back to that one riff and remake the tune around that as at the moment it seems and sounds like an Ejay track.

2/10

Heya Majutsu

The bass is rather funky though cheesy.
0.45 Nice new synth layer. great saw sellection. I like the pads backing it, very dreamy.
1.36 some great sounds. Best part.
...The tune has a great structure.
I dont really like the drum rolls.
Great vocal sample, fits in well...

I think youve done a great job with this one. IMO I would have love to hear this at 140bpm, and the track length extended; but I dont usually listen to this type of trance so disregard it lol.

Great work mate. Thanks for sharing.
