Why not just go after Speedy Claxton who is a free agent? IMHO (and I'm no Bryan Colangelo) T.J. is quite good...but he's not the veteran PG Toronto needs.
Maybe Colangelo isn't done...because I can't see Toronto going into next season with Ford, who has only a season and a half of games under his belt, and Calderone, who is definitely a couple of years away from starting.
I dunno...maybe Colangelo is going to sign a cheap veteran PG to share the backup role with Calderone...or will give some minutes to Derrick Martin?
This is definitely the iffiest move so far...Charlie V is going to be hard to replace...I can only assume there are more deals to come or a free agent signing or two. Now we need another good sized small forward to either start or backup Bargnani and I think another PG if either Ford or Calderone falters or gets hurt.

Charlie V for T.J. Ford. Come on, unless Colangelo does have another thing or two up his sleeve I hate this move.
Edit: Actually, with James most likely leaving I think this might be a good trade. Mind you I loved the way Charlie V. played this season, but with Bosh and Bargnani up front the Raptors need a good back court presence.

im not sure how i feel about this one either...
charlie is going to blossom into an all star for sure. ford is a good snag and i think his style of play will suit what the raptors want to do but it is really hard knowing that they had to give away so much to get him. it's been rumoured that roko ukic is going to be in a raptors uniform this year so we will have to see how that pans out. remember, he was one of the top point guard prospects in last years draft...i think everybody has sort of forgotten about the potential this kid has.
i would also like to add that it looks like colangelo is banking alot on barngnani....
lets hope this kid is disco-esque.

I'm also iffy about this. I like Ford, but giving up Villanueva seems to be too big of a price.
Mind you, Colangelo hasn't done anything wrong... yet.

I don't like this. Charlie V isn't gonna be a star, but he's going to have a solid career, a banger on the glass with decent offensive numbers.
besides, Charlie V liked it here, and wanted to play for Toronto for years to come.
