i dont own an mk3 so sorry but to my knowledge you can only store cue points, hot cue points (which can work like a sampler if you use it right, loops etc etc...but i dont beleive you can store whole songs...

it does not support multimedia like another deck that pioneer has, so no you cant add audio.
it only adds points/loops its not like what you explained, it just makes data entries of what minute/frames it's in! its not writing audio to the sd card!

perhaps someone would know...im just curious about this:
if you have a memory card reader on your computer, im assuming youd be able to edit the data files written in by the mk3 to set up pre-made cue points or loops, etc etc..??? can anyone confirm this...just an idea, if it works it would be great for pre-show stuff while on the road...

no it does not work that way. If you use a reader it will tell you to format the SD. (at least for the mk2 it does and i'm sure the mk3 works the same way)

you wouldnt be able to edit the data, you can only create the ques loops etc ON the CDJ itself, whats cool about the MK3 though is that you can duplicate the memorycard...that way you can have the same que points on both CDJs, and not have to re-create all your favorite loops and ques.
