I have BOSE Triport headphones and was thinking about getting BEYRDYNAMIC DT 990. These BOSE headphones have really good sound but are they good for producing? It seems when i make tunes and play them on a regular stereo or other headphones it sounds...weired. So i don't know if its the headphones or what...

I have read up on these DT990's and they seem to be good, everyone recommends them, though same price as these BOSE ones i got now...I'm confused, i don't want to get these headphones if my BOSE HPs are better. I dunno different sound coupling???

Any help is appreciated.

EDIT: Oh yeah do i need a headphone amplifier? Is that only for DJing?
I would get some friggin monitors but i live in a barracks so i cant make much noise.

I reciently found all the information on this that I needed using the search function here and Google.

I settled on the AKG K240DF...

Yeah i used the search and found threads but nothing about these BOSE i got and im a little crunched on time so i didnt read through it all...
