if you're using any applications that need speed such as video editing and / or audio production for example... mac's own pc's... which is why most professionals use them...

I found absolutely no difference in a PC vs Mac all through Graphic Design.

I can go on and on and on about how over rated Macs are.

Virus > Virus ... of course there's no recent virus for Mac's. Most business are using PCs and won't switch. Percentage wise, PCs still kill the Macs worldwide. Hackers want their name out and to be known, why create a virus for a small numbers of units. If the macs had this much units world wide, the hackers would be makin' virus for them too, and they would have to keep updating their OS like us.

Restarting > you don't understand how many times I have to restart the Macs when I had shit to do at school. (I took graphic design)Even my proffs tell us to restart right away, before working on them. My PC at home runs so much smoother and faster then any G5 at school. I lost so much work at school when shit crashed.

MACs are EASY to USE > Yes this is true, but there's a price you have to pay. Without problem solving and figuring shit out ... you tend to rely on "what's the easier way is the better way" for life. If Mac's had enuff units out like PCs, how many faulty shit hackers will figure out to fuck your system up? And at that point, since you relied on that theory ... you might aswell send your undefeatable Mac to be serviced, b/c you don't know how to fiuck your shit up.

PRICE > can't even compaire ..... why pay so much when PCs are so much better and used for everyday life. Trying upgrading a Mac, you'll be paying so much for shit.

PS.

MACs are for NERDS! Just like all those nerdy art dorks at my school that carry an iPOD b/c it's cool now.

Not really.

Modern PC processors run circles around the G5 Macs. Why do you think the new Macs use the same CPUs you can buy in any PC?

Macs are PCs these days. They're just fancy PCs with a chip on the motherboard that enables them to only run OS X.

I wouldn't say that at all. Nerds are the ones who are busy patching up their PC linux boxes...definitely not Mac users that are just that *users*...not hackers, crackers or people that constantly need to delete stuff from their registry because XP sucks ass.

And nerdy art dorks? Sorry but the fact is that the multimedia applications for Mac far outweigh anything available for the PC.

I do however feel Apple has really set themselves up for failure given that their new Intel Mac's can run Windows XP on them and PC's now can run Mac OS X. I would definitely be putting a "strong sell" recommendation on their stock.

It also sucks that the Ipod got so popular...I bought my first one four years ago when it first came out onto the PC platform. Now I hide it in a case and would never be caught dead with the white apple headphones not only because the sound quality sucks but ewww...fashion faux pas! Bang & Olufsen a8's all the way!!

Why did INTEL teamed up with Apple ?

http://reviews.cnet.com/4520-10442_7-6389077-1.html

B/C they are getting killed in the PC world, can't improve their CPUs and have no where to run to.
