I don't really watch many stuff on my PSP due to only having a 32MB memory card, However, If there's a video clip or movie trailer that I like, I would convert it to the PSP format and watch it on the PSP when ever in the mood.

Just out of curiosity: what's the estimated battery life when you watch movies on a PSP (I don't own one but am interested)

If you stick to watching movies on battery power, and not switch tasks or shut the power off and on repeatedly, something like maybe 3-4 hours? It's not bad at all. Sure beats laptop batteries, for DAMN sure.

i've downloaded 18 seasons of the simpsons. and watch the episodes on my psp~
