I've spent a good amount of time on the 800, and it is no Xone:92, as far as feel and versatility are concerned. But then again, I like the Xone's filters way more than I like digital effects.
So, taken as a straight-up mixer, sans effects, the Xone wins hands-down. If you're into effects, though, the 800 would probably be better for you. I think you would be better off keeping the Xone and getting an EFX-1000, though, if you're into that sort of thing.
Sound quality difference is debateable. It depends whether you prefer a warm analog sound or a pristine digital sound.
