[Submerge Promo] Allied Nations - Bombay, India - May 9th, 2006
Ok this mix was done as a promotional giveaway for the event organizers I dj for. I wanted to find some really great tunes from the last little while, stuff that was tried and true. Solid quality tracks that people could easily just pop on whenever they felt the need. I think this one just rolls along... Nothing too obscure, just pleasant sounds.
Enjoy!

1. "Four Squares"
"Adam Johnson"
A Standout tune. This one will last a long time. Pure quality from someone who has never released anything substandard in my opinion. If you like this check out Chigliak.
2. "Tessio (Mathias Schaffhauser Remix)"
"Luomo"
Released Christmas day, 2000 and still sounds off the hook in a club. This track is for all times. Perfect vocals.
3. "Just Like We Breakdown (DFA Remix)"
"Hot Chip"
Heard this, was instantly hooked. This is a great track which sounds unlike anything I have heard. This one is special. It all works on this number, and I love that kick!
4. "Falling up (Carl Craig remix)"
"Theo Parrish"
Another insta hook. The first time you hear this it really messes with your head a bit. I know this tune has gotten a lot of play, but I really don't care, its class.
5. "Easy (Original Mix)"
"Trick & Kubic ft. Valeska"
So Easyyyy Babee... First heard this on UWM's mix and had to get a hold of it! This sort of bassline makes me fip! Lovely combination of sounds on this record.
6. "Hide and Seek (R3volve's Hide and Seek mix)"
"Imogen Heap"
Not much to say about this one. A lot of people resent the fact R3volve fucked with this song, but I think it works. People dig this tune. It's a mover. Love those trancey elements when the tune is breaking down.
7. "Window Licker (Run Jeremy's X-Rated Lick)"
"Aphex Twin"
A fun dirty funky rework of Windowlicker. I think everyone involved in dance music needs to be exposd to Aphex Twin because he really is a genius. Quality tune that gets people. Love the chanting in the intro.
8. "Cold Drink, Hot Girl (Original Mix)"
"Jody Wisternoff"
Way Out West has always been a favorite and when I heard this single, it combined all the awesome production of WoW with a slight funkier housier vibe to it. This tunes makes me happy. Love how he plays with the beats on here.
9. "Skin (Sultan Mix)"
"Jiva"
Good funky fun prog. Nice guitar sample, this is a simple, but quality tune that moved the floor. People pick up on it, and it always gets me going. The stabs and samples are great.
10. "Sedna"
"16 Bit Lolitas"
Massive release from them, like 10 minutes long! This one in the club just flows so well. This one really reminds me of "Pryda - Aftermath" just proggier. And we all know how that one rocks the floor!
11. "Hale Bopp (2006 Remix)"
"Roman Lieske"
Solid remix of a classic. I can't pronounce the name of who made the original properly, but they found a great hook on here.
