Best burgers ever. For a frozen burger they are damn juicy & taste awesome. Prolly high in calories though. Just tried one of thier Filet Mignons today & it was also excellent. Reminded me of a $200 filet at Gibsons, but that might also of had some to do with my bbq skillz

thats funny all i've heard about omaha steaks is bad. they're purportedly average frozen steaks that have been promoted up the wazoo and are over priced.
i'd rather go to my local butcher and pick up a fresh steak when i want it.
Every once in a while we get a catalog from Omaha Steaks, full of pretty pictures of medium-rare beef (Omaha is a mail-order company specializing in "gourmet" steaks and other items, which are shipped frozen and raw). I've been throwing their catalogs out, because the steaks they offer seem way overpriced. (You can buy four sirloin steaks, five ounces each, for thirty-six dollars, meaning you're spending over thirty dollars a pound for sirloin. That's about four or five times the cost of USDA Choice sirloin bought in a supermarket. How good could they be to cost so much more?)

dude for real the burgers are great. I was totally suprised. I cooked thier burgers for the first time abt 2 weeks ago & was expecting average but they were supurb. The today i decided to bust open the box of Filet Mignon cause i didnt know what to expect. I cooked a burger & a filet. Normally i would just make one or the other but since i never had thier filets b4 i decided ill have something to eat even if the filet sucks. Well it was awesome & i finished both. Normally i wouldnt be able to finish em either cause i cooked some sides or spiced potatos & a ton of grilled onions on the grill too. But it was so good i finished em both.

Well, jon I tried two different burgers today:
A Bubba Burger
and
A Creekstone Farms Black Angus burger.
The black angus cooked quickly and easily and was okay in taste. The Bubba Burger took forever to cook and was much thicker and tastier. Keep in mind these were pan-fried and not BBQ'd. I don't have a WTFBBQ grill.
