i have one of those keyboards with multimedia keys (play, stop, volume, email, internet, etc.)


what's the best proggie out there to configure them? i'd like to control winamp with the play/stop/skip buttons but just a simple "internet" configuration will do.

Winamp enable global hotkeys

it should work just through winamp. Right click, options, preferences, global preferences, global hotkeys, check the "enabled" box & give it a go.

Time to upgrade.

You can still set it in classic mode so it works like 2.91 w/o all the bugs :P

That's simple and nice, gonna use it. I was getting a bit tired of the default classic skin

Do you know how to search only for classical skins? edit: forget it, found it already

any winamp over 2.91 use a lotta resources...but I upgraded :P

Ew...default classic skin is atrocious...I love that one. Simple, everything's there, plus it matches my desktop:

nice desktop, much better than the overly complicated ultra-scifi things we get to see the most

after installing almost 20 skins, i ended up going with this one:

only misses some little border/detail for every winamp window as there's too much empty black space with main+eq+playlist open.. apart from that it's exactly what i want.
