[Progressive/Melodic] Sterilis - Decessio (Enak Remix)

This is my first attempt at producing progressive. Need a break from uplifting and I want to see if i can produce in different areas.

The track isnt finished, still mixing and automation issues plus i need to add some more fx into it. just want peoples opinions on it. in case im making a pile of shit.

Cheers!

hey barry

from the first track i heared by you i always thought you had a progressive side. i think it is your stronger side.

nice sounding track. pleasant build up. chilled and clean.

bass and kick are nice. maybe a bit more bass but not too much

introduction of synths is nice.

break - a nice crash into the break would introduce it better.

there is a slight lack of drive here. not sure why? maybe the rolling bass. gives more of a chilled vibe. but it sounds like this was what you were attempting.

the last third - sounds more full and spacey. i would have introduced this arped pad sound over a much longer duration. slowly fading it into the track. so it is noticable but very quiet and gets louder throughout. and turn it down in the mix a slight bit

no other probs for me mate. maybe introduce a ear grabbing layer that stands out slightly more?

rich
