Seriously now... Would you every buy a Hyundai?

It seems like they have increased 50% in sales in 2001. Would you ever buy a Hyundai? (Santa Fe, Tiburon, Elantra, etc.)

i honestly have wondered that myself. i inquired to some kid that purchased one recently and all he could say is that forr a new car they are cheaper than Hondas or Toyotas and they have a some hotshit warranty. who gives a fuck if it has a 10000 mile warranty or whatever, getting fixed WHEN(and not IF) it breaks will suck regardless. i say who gives a shit if you cant afford a *new* car, buy a better used one!

best Hyundai joke ever: why do Hyundais come with a heated rear window? so your hands dont get cold while you push them...

heh late/

yeah, i agree...hyundais suck ass. the first car i ever drove was a '92 Elantra and it broke down a few times in the 2 years i had it. I'm now driving a HONDA Civic HX and I couldn't be happier.

i guess koreans just like americans are just now catching on to the art/industry of carmaking. now the germans/japanese on the other hand know how to make machines.

Never in my life would i buy a Hyundai. The majority of the asian cars in that class are trash. Like Kia, Daewoo and Hyundai. Just my opinion though, some people actually like them. The new tiburon is a much nicer looking car than its predecessor, dosent look like someone kicked it in the ass anymore.

I would buy a Hyundai before I would buy a Mitsubishi. Mitsubishi's are probably better cars, but I can't overlook the fact that American soldiers were forced on the Great Bataan Death march, then thrown into concentration camps and forced to provide labor. Guess what company they performed labor for? Yep, Mitsubishi!

Are you sure that youre not thinking of Volswagen, the German company that Hitler helped succeed? Mutsubishi is japanese, although they did both have issues in the war. Correct me if Im wrong, im going from memory.

Hyundai = Handa + Ford

Like Hondas, they're good on gas. But they are as reliable as fords:

does that mean u wouldn't buy an american car for the same reason. during WWII american place japanese landed immigrants as well as JAPANESE AMERICANS (meaning Japanese people who were born in America) in to camps (not necesarrily concentration camps but camps none the less) obviously in this case, being amercian is subjective and relative

or will u not buy american cause they're junk
