Thumbs down mmkay so...

you ever locked your keys in your car?

today i met with TAs very own Omega_Blue and his buddy whom I hopefully will be living with for this next school year. After looking at a few houses we came upon our house of choice and I managed to lock my keys in the car right before we went in to see the place. We stole a hanger from one of the girls who lives there but couldnt get it. Costed me 42 god damn dollars to get it unlocked.

I locked my keys in my car one night after Rive Gauche. It was 5am & i was rollin balls & when i got to my car i realized i locked my keys inside. Also i was alone & my cellphone was in the car & i had to call the people i met up with to drive me home since they parked on another street. So i just kicked the lil back/side window in & got my phone to call my friends. Then the next day i realized my keys were in my coat pocket that i was wearing that night. It was no big deal, the window was only $100 & the car was a beater anyways, but the real bitch was cleaning all the glass outta the car the next day.

i used to lock my keys in all the time, so i bought a soft top for my jeep and now all i have to do is unzip the sides or back off and crawl in. Unfortuantly, i wasn't the only one who thought of this and a couple of weeks ago a good 10 years worth of my cd's got stolen. damn.

$45? that's cheap considering.
I locked my keys after Ultrafest @ Bayfront Park, had no $$$
with me left, so I had to call my sister to come out and help.
$95 bucks later, I had my keys...

damn... i don't think i've ever done that before. i'm usually super careful if i leave my keys in the car (like if i'm pumping gas or something), i'll roll the window down just enough for me to fit my arm through just in case i accidentally lock them in there.

back in the day when you bought a new car they gave you a plastic key like in a credit card thing that you would need to punch it out. The plastic key would keep in your wallet and if you locked your keys in your car you go to your wallet and there is the plastic key to unlock your door.

I believe you made a similar thread a few months ago when you misplaced the keys to your mom's jeep.

that's a great idea... i wonder why they don't do that anymore?

spare keys don't do much good, at least not for me. i keep them at home, and if i lock my keys in my car i can't get into my house... not to mention i probably wouldn't be anywhere near home.
