you can't...whats the xdiffrence, fruity loo[ps itself with no vstis will run on a 33mhz computer, i doubt you have anything lower than that, 1-6 use pretty much the same processing power, i have 2.5ghz, and fruityloops just being open, uses 2% of my processor...heh [ok, a little more than 33mhz]

download the fl6 demo, you will enjoy it. Just stay away from sytrus on your computer for really involved tracks. But feel free to play with sytrus by itself or on a break to see what fruity can do. You can do anything with 3osc, wasp etc though. If you think about it many great vsts are just a 3osc. You can always download virus, absynth, etc oscillators for free online legally and use the sample in three osc. And since you can "layer" any number of 3oscs together, each with lfo, envelope and filter, you can have a 6-, 9-, 12- osc, whatever. I spent thousands on hardware, vsts (reaktor, z3ta, vanguard, v-station, absynth, pro53, fm7, albino, ...) and now use only fruity, reaktor or supercollider by itself !! My music sounds better than ever. If I could do it all over, I would just have bought reason, fruity, or logic (something with good generators and effects) and stick with it until I KNEW EDM. I'm just starting to do this now, and I really regret how many times I thought a new vst would magically make me not suck.

The point is its best for your development to use fruity stripped, which your comp can definitely handle.

An appeal to authority: Interview with DJ Torsten on trance production

"Q: What is the most common mistake new mixers / re-mixers with home studios make?
A: Well, a widespread mistake is putting you under too much pressure. I heard artists say "I want to sound like
this producer" many, many times, but this is just plain wrong. In order to become established in the music business
you have to develop a precise idea of your personal sound. Yet I tell newcomers to listen closely to existing tracks
by other producers so they can analyze and learn rather than copy. A very practical recommendation is to stick
to a few good tools and master them. Browsing through sample libraries for hours is not an efficient way to learn."
