buy a Mac and get Logic Audio.
and don't say mac's suck..... the exact opposite is true, because true professionals for audio and video production use macintosh... they are the most reliable, and the fastest computers for that industry.

Buzz Tracker
Dunno about Reason, never used it, but I've been using Buzz for about 2 years now and have found it to be very complete.
Check out my stuff written solely in Buzz with just a few samples added http://artists.mp3s.com/artists/328...n_steroidz.html

I have this discussion often. I wont start saying Macs suck, even though thats what I may think, but i'm afraid for the cost of a mac and its kit you could get a far better PC. For instance my friend has a top spec G4, and he says it whoops the pants off any PC that I have, or have seen, so I said ok then for the same price as ur G4 I could have gone out and bought myself a Deck Alpha with 4096MB RAM & 7.5GHz processor with 750Mhz Central clock. He don't have much comeback to that does he? And as it happens running twin Athlon's, say 2.2GHz with 1024MB RAM would still be cheaper than a mac. You could afford reasonable DSPs for that price. And if you really serious you could put 100 grand into a mac or a PC, and the difference with be minute anyway.
