Dunno Best synth for Tech/dirty sounds?

Hi!

Looking for hardware synth.
Hoping to get some cool sounds for tech-music (benny Benassi/Royal Gigolos style sounds)?

What do you think is the "best"?
Also it would be nice if it is easy to use with Reason?
Maybe Novation XioSynth?

Definately go for the Virus if you want the Benassi-sound...

Basically it's what he uses (and obuses ;-) ) on 90 % of all his tracks. In this interview he mentions his gearlist:

His gearlist also includes the Clavia Nordlead. I don't know this personally, but I know for sure that the Access Virus has just the "sound" I think you're after.

Regards

Reason does not record audio or host softsynths. Do you have a Rewire host?

Thank you again!

There is no audio record or vst/host softsynths in Reason, it is very true...
But I like the way Reason works, and it has some very nice sounds

But I did read, that with Novation XioSynth (it is also much cheaper than Virus...) I can control Reason (twek the Reason sounds + play them with the hardware synth) stright with the XioSynth.... And that should be very easy (at least that what they say in novation)

But I don't know about the sound in XioSynth...
