No. Travelling is not a foul, Travelling is a violation. Which means it does not add to personal fouls, just a change of possession to the other team. A foul is normally physical contact.
On the other hand I agree with you about 'Who cares about watching the NBA,' I think we have to move on the times to look at other sports, seeing slam dunks, jams, behind the back passes, half way shots, three point plays doesnt excite me anymore like it use to. The NBA after the Bull's dynasty ended, got much boring and shitter.
Pass my thanks to Scottie Pippen, David Robinson,Hakeen Olaujuwon. Karl Malone, John Stockton

Basketball is a very entertaining sport to watch.... just NOT the NBA. College Basketball is incredibly entertaining. You never know who is going to win. You can always assume, but there are always multiple upsets in any given week. For example, Duke losing to Virginia last week... The #3 ranked team in the nation losing to an unranked. Or how about Wisconsin, a team with 6 walk-ons, a new coach etc, at the beginning of the season... They went on to tie for the Conference championship with the likes of Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio State. Most college basketball games go down to the wire, and once you get into the NCAA tournament, where your season can end on any given night.... you never know what is going to happen. The 16 seed knocking off the top seed in the first round, etc.
Rivalries also make college basketball much more entertaining to watch. Duke v Maryland... some great games in the past few years. It's always a toss-up as to who will win.
In my opinion, sports end after college. Pro sports are just not as entertaining.

It's march madness time. I'm excited.
I love College anything.
It's interesting to see how much passion players will have when they aren't being paid millions of dollars to play a sport.
College sports are much more pure in my opinion.
I like Duke to win again, but these losses lately have shaken my confidence a little. The top teams are so closely matched.
Of course I can't really make any predictions, the seeds haven't even been picked yet.
