After a short period of silence, we have a massive release of Cygnus-X coming up on Bonzai Trance Progressive... The track is called "Positron" and is actually an old release from Eye-Q in Germany. This new vinyl will include the original, a 2002 remake by Cygnus-X, a slammin remix by Armin van Buuren and a remix by Marco V.!

I thought Positron was a solid track, but could definitely use more power, and hopefully these new remixes will give it the swift kick in the ass it needs. When is the release scheduled?

Cygnus X is of course Matthias Hoffmann, also responsible for the Brainchild classics and collaborator on many projects with the other key Eye Q producers, Stevie B Zet, Ralph Hildenbeutel, Sven Vath.

A less well known Cygnus X classic is 'Indakasa'. Also check out 'Deliberation', 'Turn Around', 'Sychronism' and 'Kinderlied pt.2'

'Positron' is actually a very different version of 'Superstring', it was on the original release in 1993.

Famously Ferry Corsten 'based' his remix of 'Madagascar' very heavily on the original Cygnus X remix.

Matthias Hoffmann = genius dance producer.
