I'm just going to say this once. I don't intend to participate in any arguments relating to the subject.
Those "cracked out" people doing drugs who don't seem to care about the music are more than likely the regulars at Viva. They keep the place alive and pay Viva's bills. If it wasn't for them, the place wouldn't exist. So far I have seen one (1) newly-registered tranceaddict who goes to Viva regularly - if and when the rest of you start supporting the club like he does, then maybe you'll have a right to complain about the druggies. Until then, either live with it, be happy that you've got such great talent in such an awesome venue, or just don't go.
Man, I'm sorry to bitch, but this is the only thing that -seriously- upsets me here, people dissing clubs when they don't have a fucking clue what the reality is. Well get a clue you guys, Temporal Rhythm may be closely tied into TA and that's awesome for us, but Viva is a club run by totally separate people who you've never met and likely never will meet, and their primary concern is to make money, not to weed out "unsavoury" characters to make it a more pleasant experience for you.
I thought it was a great party and I had a great time, possibly because I spent 98% of my time with the TA's up front (which you whiners should have also done), but in all honesty the crowd did not bother me. Most of the people seemed pretty polite, they were letting me through and saying "excuse me" when trying to get through. That's all I ask for in a crowded place. |
I agree with everything said here. At Viva, I make my own fun, surround myself w/the right people, and ignore all the rest. No one really bothers me there.
