I've met Dalton several times, I've had meals with him, listened to him speak, I've been at parties with him, even BBQ'ed him a pork chop.... I can honestly say he is a very nice guy, smart guy, but in no way is what one would deem a dynamic personality.

I suppose that depends on what one deems important by way of leadership. That said, I have not been impressed... very Chretien like... "if I don't do anything I can't upset too many people." Vision is important. It is very much lacking in pretty much all levels of the Canadian political arena.
