Smoking ..umm..something Submerge

I just finished this tune called SUBMERGE. I could do with an opinion about the levels...I still dunno yet, but it might just be my ears. Do I need to space the sounds out a little more??

mmmk opening up lemme get focused... haha

ok i take it this is a quick clip cuz of the way you automated the main mix level up to start the track? i assume? also - theres lacking a intro vs. breakdown - its basically all the same although here we go 2:30min is kinda a breakdown but not really
heres you main problem - youre lacking a classic sequencing for trance - p.s. i see u faded out so yeah its a clip haha

ok so yeah about ur levels:
kick is pretty damn good good job - bass could be a little wider
the opening panned sound is way too loud and compressed too much - lighten the compression just a few clicks

good tribal percs and they seem pretty decent mixed into the mix - your percs seem to be not ur issue as much which is most peoples hardest mixing part so good job!

great verbage/delay use - helps in mixing process doesnt it - i always tell people to work on theyre verb/delay use but ur alreayd on the boat
Great snare fill btw! i really liek the trip pattern n its crisp and just sitting in the middle of the mix well (percs should be between 4 and -4 panned max!)

personally dont like the main lead - its kinda germanish with the 16th notes hitting on the kick spots but i dunno - the track is hard to judge based on the short clip so if u post more - itll be easier to judge on qual

good stuff so far though - some current sounds some not so much but thats ok keep workin at it
spence
