Tasty text?
Am I the only person here who appreciates text this way sometimes? For some reason, ever since I started reading, I can 'taste' text when I remember it. When it dealt with food of course!
My relationship with the written word is different than most peoples. I do not really remember the actual words, but I remember nearly all novels like a movie. All of them, without exception. The dialogue plays out like someone actually said it, and sometimes I have confused passages in a book for movie scenes.
I also smell what the author describes sometimes.
This might be a normal thing, but I experience what I read quite vividly. I do not think the average person feels what they read as much as I do. A good novel is much more realistic then a movie to me.
