Is this site legit to get vsts from?

Not sure if this has been posted but the vsts on this site are incredibly cheap.
I'm not entirely sure what OEM software is but I read their FAQ and have a slight clue.
Has anyone used them before I wanna get a couple of vsts?

I'm sure they provide you the VSTs after paying whatever the asking price. So yes, they are legit. Unethical? Most likely. An operation based overseas? Almost certainly.

honestly - you would be doing the music community a favor by torenting or getting them from a friend versus giving a company like this money. software doesn't follow supply and demand economics, it revolves around setting the right price points, marketing, etc. (Much like drug companies!) - Unfortunately intellectual property is be coming less and less property as the days pass.

I am personally glad I am taking the hardware route and cutting down and limiting my soft synth use. From what I can tell, hardware holds its value extremely well. I actually made $40 off my Radias. It's like renting for free you just gotta sit back and look for the proper deals. I've never understood why a lot more people don't do this and instead want soft synths and the latest group buy or whatever flavor of the month. I'm not dissing soft synths, as they are powerful and good, but I don't understand why they are way, way more popular than outboard gear when outboard gear is like a free instrument (if bought and sold properly)

All I have been using lately is the Ableton Instruments, my Blue Tubes package for FX, FM8, and Virus TI. This is just four sources and there really isn't much more you'll need. Ironically, of the 4 listed synths/fx listed above, the Virus TI holds its value far and beyond any of the software.

Rant over.

Don't buy OEM software. In fact, don't buy software, period! Get some outboard gear. Don't want to get into a debate, but there is a reason that the top hardware companies keep bringing out new stuff. The obvious is the synths sell. These companies wouldn't be progressing forward if they feared the future or were struggling financially because nobody bought their latest products. Again, there's a reason that hardware is still, and always will be, produced.

No OEM software
No software

Hardware only! You would be surprised at what you can get for your $ on the hardware end if you don't mind pre-owned gear, and as mentioned above multiple times, you can just turn around and sell it and make money off it if you're patient when buying/selling. I personally just picked up a Virus TI desktop for 1k flat. Can't beat that!

Hardware is still pretty expensive when you buy it as an investment to be used as a tool, not as an investment that you are gonna resell for profit. I hardly ever sell anything, only buy, it's hardly a cheap hobby!

When I am looking for instruments, I am not looking for an investment. I am looking for something that works well for me. Your advice is far too cut and dry, Steve.

Edit: Btw, No Robby, wouldn't buy from there.

Sorry, but this cracked me up. I love how everyone is an armchair economist these days, particularly around elections... "oh... interest rates! INFLATION!"

Its not a legit place to buy. As said pirate stuff. And if thats what you want as someone said already, torrent it. Why give someone your cash and you could find it in minutes online

1st thing I saw on there on the left was adobe CS4 which is worth way way more than what they offer. Instantly proves to me its all pirate stuff. Best test is compare prices on real sites.

If its too good to be true, as the story goes......
