I think I've mentioned before that I love your tune 'The element'. I think it received a lot of support from top DJ's & an Ian Betts remix. So would you share with us (if you know) how many units that shifted, whether downloads or physical sales?
PS.....Any chance of the midi of the melody - if that's possible?
Congrats on Friday for Armin dropping one of your remix's at GK - did he know you would be there? That must be some feeling?
I know your down the road from me in Cov, I live in Coleshill fairly near. Nice to see a local lad making some waves.
One further question - I know you've not been producing for that long - are you musically trained? ie could you play the piano anyway?
Cheers

Hi mate (not probably the place to answer all these! apologies for the hijack!)
The element sold just under 300 downloads (thats across all sites & over a period of 4 months). I think the internet some what over inflates the 'buzz' of the download sites, because there isnt that big a market for it (this genre only im talking about, probably bigger for others).
But a record to get over a 1000 sales on downloads alone would have to be something that'd be classed as a 'tune of the year' by big djs (to gain the exposure, support etc) to gain that kind of quantity of sales.
As for gods & the music, nah he didnt know i was there, kinda last minute & im self taught to be musically trained, no performer by all means but i know my way about a set of ivories!
Back to the topic though a good 'sales' run on downloads i think would need to be accompanied by an impressive dj support. Get a big name on it & you've opened the marketing doors up further to more listeners!
